Luiz Carlos Trabuco was born on October 6, 1951. Raised in Marilia, Sao Paulo, Trabuco received his undergraduate degree from Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters of the University of Sao Paulo and a graduate degree from Foundation School of Sociology and Politics of Sao Paulo.

Mr. Luiz Carlos Trabuco Cappi began his career at Banco Bradesco in April 1969. He has held all the positions of the hierarchical scale of the bank. He was appointed a department director in January 1984, a managing officer in 1998 and an executive vice president in 1999. In 2009, Trabuco was elected chief executive officer of Banco Bradesco.

During his tenure as CEO of Banco Bradesco, the bank doubled its size – from R $ 32 billion of assets in 2003 to R $ 78 billion in 2010. In his first year of administration, the bank’s return on equity rose from 22 % to 29%.

Luiz Carlos Trabuco also heads other affiliate companies of Bradesco Organization; he is the managing director of FIMADEN. He is also a sitting member of the board of directors of the Brazilian Federation of Bank Association (FEBRABAN).
