Haroldo Jacobovicz: civil engineer and businessman
Haroldo Jacobovicz was born in Brazil to parents who were both civil engineers. Haroldo was motivated as he witnessed his mother, Sarita, and father adds value and structures where there had previously been none. At first, he followed in their footsteps, studying civil engineering for four and a half years at the Federal University of Paraná. He quickly realized that he was interested in information technologies.
A civil engineer and businessman, Haroldo Jacobovicz is passionate about technology. He founded the e-Governe Group, Horizons Telecom, and Horizons Datacenter. These businesses were created to combine the best strategic assets, technical know-how, and human talent to solve information technology issues with the most cutting-edge solutions and more
Among the essential things for Haroldo is to develop practical habits. Being present in his work is critical. A productive day would be one where he’s involved in everything from dawn to dusk. He gets up at six a.m. and engages in a wide range of physical exercises to reconnect with his body. He then eats a light meal and reads the latest news on his tablet from newspapers and magazines.
He will then take a shower before heading to the office. Usually, decision-making, phone calls, and meetings continue throughout the day. However, during lunchtime, he has the most constructive discussions with the team. Before he got into the business, Haroldo Jacobovicz ensured he understood everything he was doing. He believes nothing can be predicted with absolute certainty, and a lot is learned along the way.
